This Is Weird: Duff’s Band To Open For Guns N’ Roses

So, Guns N’ Roses will be touring the states soon, and I have been wondering who the hell would be opening for them. Now, we both know.

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose revealed during an interview with VH1 Classic’s “That Metal Show” that Duff McKagan’s Loaded will open on some of the upcoming Guns dates.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Duff’s new band will be opening for Duff’s old band — totally fucking weird, folks. Beyond weird.

Does this spell good things for a Guns N’ Roses reunion? After all, Duff did play with Guns N’ Roses not that long ago, during a show in London.

I think this is a good sign. I do. And I would love to see all those dudes back together on one stage again, even if only for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

But a GN’R reunion? That would be the biggest music news since the Spice Girls reunion. I kid. That would be humongous news. Tell me you wouldn’t be psyched. I mean, at this point, I can’t name one person who would rather see a revived Velveeta Revolver over a revived GN’R. Not one.
