Duff McKagan
It’s just strange. That’s strange.
Duff McKagan’s band Loaded will be opening on two dates of the current Guns N’ Roses tour, it has been confirmed.
Those dates, of course, are within driving distance of Duff’s home: December 16 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington (a city I wish I lived in), and on December 17 at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver (another city I wish I lived in).
This is not the first time Duff and Axl Rose have banded together since Guns N’ Roses imploded. Duff appeared on stage with Guns N’ Roses in October 2010 at London, England’s O2 arena.
This sort of bodes well for a reunion of the original lineup at the upcoming Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, no?
I mean, I think with Duff as the intermediary, chances are good this thing will happen. How could it not? I mean, I don’t think DJ Ashba’s getting into the hall, is he? So, Slash, Steven Adler — they’ve all gotta be there, right?
